Breast Reduction: Case 16
Description
This poor patient had severe gigantomastia at a young age and all the symptoms like back and neck pain, rashes, and more. Dr. Linville performed a very large reduction and also a free nipple graft, which is the only way to get the breast reduced to a normal size. Seen afterwards is some hypopigmentation of the nipple and areola, which happens after a free nipple graft sometimes. Dr. Linville advised nipple tattooing like we do for our reconstruction patients, but she was so happy to have her life back, she hasn't done it yet.
