Tummy Tuck with LipoContouring: Case 17
Description
This 37 year old woman didn't like her skin laxity and shape after having children and wanted to get as snatched as possible. She had some redundant skin at the lower abdomen and some diastasis when trying to sit up. She also wanted to enhance her abdominal contouring. Dr. Linville performed circumferential liposuction, bodytite RF, and a tummy tuck. He also did a mastopexy revision and implant exchange, as part of her "mommy makeover". This was actually a little bit of a difficult surgical decision, because she did not have a lot of laxity. So, Dr. Linville and the patient decided to do a little bit of a hybrid tummy tuck, and in order to keep the appearance of a long torso, a small vertical slit was left at the lower incision, where her belly button used to be. Sometimes this is necessary for a tummy tuck in order to keep the patient looking "long enough" or tall enough.
